Cass,
I'm one of the last persons I know who got one and now I wonder how I managed without it. They do come in handy. I too use mine as a alarm clock when I travel ir when I have to get up later than my husband.

Yep, word's in all the handles. I'm going to take a look at how nothing is sacred anymore. They ring in church, board meetings - just about everywhere!

Actually yes.
I am writing some short stories for my own book. I have a few completed, and a few others that are just in the beginning stages. But I have yet to do any writing for cash.

Good to see
you around David. Actually, all of us have 'word' as part of our handles.
Blogit is all things to all the people here so I guess we all get to do what we enjoy best. Any luck with the writing?

I have to admit, I would find it difficult to do without my cell phone (we call them mobile phones here). It is also my alarm clock and my new phone doubles as a radio so I can keep myself amused while working.

Other than the three are "word" named?
Re cell phones - funniest is how they interrupt and take precedence over almost everything else!

Good luck with the article...
...it's hard to make things funny on demand...I've tried and failed.

It's certainly about the writing
Which is few and far between on this site. I should know, as I am not one of the writers. Many of us aren't. But it's good to see that some of you at least know what you are here for. Others (like me) have lost their way.
