if parents knew what a tremendous impact they have, they'd be more careful about controlling themselves. thanks for the comment.

I agree

It is so sad to see adults who are still trying to prove themselves love-worthy because one or the other or both parents did not love them unconditionally.  Some parents only showed love when the good report card came in, when they made the team, scored the run, made a basket, got into the right college, passed a professional exam, ... it never ends.  They still feel like they have to earn love by accomplishments.

First and foremost, the search for love begins within. Once a person loves him/herself unconditionally, once a person can stare at the reflection in the mirror and truly accept the image they see, flaws and all, the hardest part of the journey is behind them. Those who truly love themselves find it extremely difficult to hate others. The love a person holds for themselves radiates outwards, touches those they encounter. Others see it, recognize it, feel it, and are attracted like the stereotypical moths to a flame. Whether it's platonic or romantic, others will want to share that love, experience it for themselves. This is what makes a person the light of the world and a binger of peace.
