Thank you...and thanks so much for reading.  From reading your posts, I bet you have a very rich and interesting dreamlife.  I think I assumed that all kids did that until I was grown and started talking about it, and discovered that not everyone had....what a shame.

Very nice piece.
I've always had a wonderful imagination, and was always in trouble for daydreaming. The first 9 years of my life were spent on a small farm in ID. I did not have much contact with other kids, except my sister. We could seldom agree on playing together, so like you I learned to play quite well by myself. I never did learn to be really social though. I still day dream and go to different places in my mind, if I could make some of those dreams my real life, things would be much better.

Humor is the very stuff that I breathe...couldn't survive without it.  Sometimes I may use it inappropriately but I just don't think there is any better tool to get you through the vissitudes of life.  I feel sorry for those who canno laugh at them selves.  What's that old saying, "I  feel sorry for those who cannot laugh at themselves, for they shall never cease to be amused."? Thanks for reading.

With that approach to life, I think you're going to live a long time.  Your tank isn't being drained by negativity and by letting yourself get tied up in knots over minute irritations.  Not an easy thing to do these days, so good for you.  As for me, I try to look for humour in life as much as I can, and that's easy because this can be a really absurd world sometimes.  Keep doing what you're doing.

I knew I connected to you!! Thanks for hanging in to read...I'm afraid economy in anything - words, love, passion, money - is not a virtue I have ever been able to claim!  I just can't!! I try, but I can't..I'm too full of it...as anyone who knows me will gladly attest to!!

loved every word of it! I'm an only child too, tho my childhood was not quite so idyllic, still there were many discriptions of your character that fit mine also....a very interesting read for me. I love exploring the thread, the cause and affect of our history on our present, personally, globally...everything is linked. Beautiful story...a life being well lived and celebrated!
