Once again I ended up visiting your blog when you posted about your dad!
Telepathy? And once again the lessons are similar.

i was thinking about your comment the other day, about your daughter not having a father. she is lucky to have someone of your caliber, who can teach her about her heavenly father. have a great day, metta.

my fondest memory of my dad was when i was 11 and a pitcher in little league. i would be in the middle of a game, about to strike someone out, and my dad would give the signal for me to throw my slider. as the batter would walk away, i'd look at my dad and he'd be smiling. isn't it strange what you remember the most?

i hope so
i try to remember what i liked most about my dad, and give that to them. it's not easy a lot of the time, with all the stuff going on that needs tending to.

i guess that all parents want their children to be better than they were, and in the process they end up giving more criticism than encouragement.

Wonderful tribute to your Dad, Avant-garde.   I would imagine that, having had that example from him, your sons will say similar things about you.    It is so sad to read what, MarshalIngraved wrote.   That is the one memory that way too many sons have of their fathers.
