I hadn't thought about it but you are so right! The video in my mind is so hysterical..he was so skinny and his arms so long...and that chicken was just flappin'! Thanks for reading.

That would have made you a fortune an America's Funniest home videos!  Great story.

Can't wait to hear that story!  I never got all the details..but some airheads in our school were involved in a goat bbq and one of them didn't know the other one had put the goat in his trunk and the thing got cancelled...the odor got kinda bad.....

Hilarious!

I'll try to put down a post about Dad's great idea for a goat roping and barbecue. Oh my...

My last comment still stands. I'm gonna hunt you down, lock you in a tower, and make you write a book.

Thanks for the visit and the rose....Daddy was a really funny guy...something that always surprised the kids who spent a lot of time in the office with him!

Yes, he didn't quite get the chicken-killing bit down!  Thanks for reading and do try asking that question to gossips....usually works like a charm.

This posts brings back memories.

The same thing used to be done here. People would go to the market on a Sunday morning, get their chicken, kill, season and cook for dinner - except for the part where it is thrown around. LOL.  By the sound of it, your dad was a jack of all trades - except with the chicken.
