Quirky,

A toy represents amusement and youthful play. Ready to enjoy a more carefree life. Children represent innocence. The new self seeking to develop. Part of self nature is childlike. Any type of abduction represents good future ahead; a mystery will be solved. Keep in mind that all the characters in your dreams are actually representations of yourself and your feelings. Your dreams are to aid you in solving your conscious mind.

Factor,
Well. I'm in the middle of writing a toy catalog, which is sorta fun...obviously that explains the toy part but not much else!

Have you been doing much fun lately?
Or writing creatively? Your brain may be entertaining itself with a suspenseful story... this happens to me when my life gets too predictable and boring...my dreams start becoming adventures!

Quirkyalone
And you had what to eat before you went to bed?! I never have interesting dreams like that! Wish I did.... Have you gone online to see if there is a dream interpretation site that can give you any clues?

Well, this is for fun and entertainment only...

Most dreams are about ourselves, and often times, the people in the dreams represent parts of ourselves.

The girl's mother is you, you as mother...the little girl is you as the little girl, and you in your dream is the conscious you.  The little girl in you might be disappearing into the work you're doing and you must find a way not to let that happen, because if you do, you're gonna have a hard time retrieving the little girl within.  Ever heard the saying, "A rat in a cage?"  The fact that the rat was white denotes innocence...your little girl is caged like a rat.  Also a rat is a creature that usually represents "ratting one out."  Sounds like you might be conflicted with the various roles that are within your nature.  Somehow you must find a way to come to terms with the little girl in you, your own motherly instincts and the conscious you.
