Thank you mummy ginnieb :)

You poor baby...there are lots of things that might help
  • A nice backrub
  • Sex with an amazing guy
  • Alot of booze
  • Certain drugs

OUCH!!!!!!!
Hope it's all better. At least it sounds like you were able to save the little one and have a good day despite the shacky start. I don't have any kids around and I wouldn't have a white sofa or carpet for the world.

symphony,
Young kids love to climb onto sofas. Try arranging furniture; lean the backs of such big sofas against walls so he can't climb & jump. If he falls, he might even learn not to do that.

Sorry to read about your nail. The detached nail might dry & drop off but don't worry. Nails grow from body's protein & calcium so keep eating fish/meat/milk daily. Vaselin is a healer; waterproof too. May help to apply it often. Take care.

Ben.

SYMPHONY
Ook, that sounded very painful.  As for leather sofas, they're not that great.  Fabric is much more comfortable, and hides hot rock burns better, too.

Your Second Mum!
That's cute..I like that!! :)

Ugh Symphony....I would say have it looked at or at least call about it!
It has got to be incredibly susceptible to infection..I would think it should have an antibiotic cream at least! You could just place a call to your doctor..ask them what you can do? Is it easy enough to phone doctors in England? Will they give you advice on the phone? And eek..can't imagine how painful that must be!!

Yes ginnieb

I have no finger nail at all .....it hurts like hell...my mum looked at it and told me to keep a plaster over it to stop infection and anything getting to it as thats what a nails job is....

But it really does hurt...it completely ripped off...and it sounds as bad as it is.... excruciating is a better word...but my mum tells me its not worth going to a doctor as their is nothing they can do..but you being my SECOND MUM what do you think?...should I?...

The nail came off Symphony??
That sounds incredibly painful..I'm wincing here! Should you have it looked at by a doctor? Sounds like something that could get infected! On the bright side, sounds like you had a nice time with your new/old friend! It's good to have someone like that in your life...good to share commonalities. I sure hope your finger is okay though!?
