L.E. Talk about prolific writing.
I'm a firm believer in tweaking articles to fit in particular niches. It just takes a little brainstorming to turn an old article into something new and different.

Congratulations, word.smith.  Great news.  As for re-writing articles I suppose I do it all the time as I tend to use Blogit posts for the foundations for articles.  Some of the 6 articles I sent off the other day were blogs welded together.

Absolutely!

Something like 99% of what I write for pay is commissioned (aka ghost writing) and paid for virtually on acceptance. It covers a very wide swathe, from gaming through politics to business, with a largish chunk of science and maths. But I have a friend...

This guy wites on economics, and only economics. Worse, he writes about only a very small part of economics. But he's published almost every day, somewhere and PAID WELL for it. His view is that he only writes one new article a year (that's a little bit of hyperbole), and then creates 300+ versions of it! Each version sells in a different place or a different time.

Ginnie,

Hopefully, you'll get back into the swing of things soon and be inspired by those walks that you are talking. Let me know if you got started with anything today. If not, tomorrow's another day.

Sassy, so it is.

Sometimes the words are prolific and then bang, sputter...Hope you get going sooner, rather than later. Take care of that sunburn. Must be quite painful.

Its hard to keep up
For awhile I was writing abot 3-5 per month, but so far for June, zero, zip, zilch. I will get back to it this week, just as soon as my sunburn calms down a bit.
