I couldn't believe it! To this day I can't believe I was driving around with that thing in my car! I could have been stopped, arrested and my life.....well, just picture an orange jumpsuit....the fashion horror alone!

Rudy's Dead, Kris...
He tried to steal my car, but fortunatley I had a sawed-off shotgun under my seat.  What a freak and a major pain in the ass, sounds like. Good for you for takin' no crap and I hate it when guys do that "macho" thing in front of their friends. It absolutely infuriates me. Bravo for your performance that day...hope you stuck to your guns..no pun intended...ok, it was intended.

Strat..you humble me
You know that Norah Jones song "You Humble Me, Lord"?  Well, if I ever do accidently do anything with any of my stuff, you're getting credit because of your comments and encouragement...you just never know in this life how you can touch another person's life by taking just a moment of your time. I've only been writing since I joined Blogit so having your encouragement means more than you can know...just wanted you to know it is genuinely apprecited.

Scratchin' is the first step to diggin'.
That's what this place is for. Next step is to take all these scratchings and cobble them together.

Do something with it; it's damn good stuff. All of it.

Strat
Thanks! I'd love to hear your story! And, no, hadn't thought about any manuscript...just scratchin' the old memory banks.  I really do wonder how long the crazy guy lived...sure hope he never used that gun on anyone!

Kris. Wow.
You have a way of painting a picture, fer sure. I think I know that guy. I guess we all do. I'll have to tell you about a trip I was on, years ago, on the Edisto River. It's too long to get into right now.

Good work, you! I swear, you really have sometihg going here. I hope all this is getting put into a manuscript.
