it's easy to get caught up in this world and forget what is real and true.

i think that we often miss...
good conditions to address to God...when i look at myself, i often happen to pray when i'm not totally calm in mind...and don't reach anything good that way...i always get good answers when i am calm and silent...i know it, but i don't always apply to the rule...why do i always forget about that???

To paraphrase the Serentity Prayer:  It all comes down to serentity to accept, courage to change, and wisdom to know the difference...

All of which can only be achieved by being ever mindful of our place in the Universe as God's children and his immense mercy and love for us all.

Peace, and thank for sharing....

just being aware of exerting effort is enough. that we think we know the way out of our problems is a problem.

to completely give up trying is also much like trying when it is for a result,as not choosing is also a choice.By not trying do you mean to not be mindful of it?this is difficult as you see yourself in others,I have effected many people and to be around them is a reminder.Any attempt with meditation or breathing exercises is also mindful of this, as because of this trying was the reason to attempt and practice techniques and healings.maybe it is hard because it requires no effort and I am trying much too hard.thanks avant.

when we experience 'trouble', we have shifted from creative to reactive beings. we have concluded that we are less than what we really are. to pray for healing (mental) is to seek wholeness, realizing that any action taken towards the end perpetuates the illusion of sickness. though it is hard to do, the best action is to completely give up trying to find a way out. that's when the miracle occurs.

In prayer for health or to see yourself clearly,is action also part in recieving the answer.St Francis was once told that he must pray for the great garden he had tended and he replied"yes I also pray with a hoe in hand",I ask this because when I am looking for the cause of health or mind trouble,in looking I see everything as a possibility and try many things that only prove that this is not the solution.

It's all about perception, isn't it? And our lies distort our perceptions.
