Argus, I wonder if that didn't come to Jamaica
with the German. There is a German settlement on the south coast of the island, so I think that that's quite possible.

I guess it's wise to leave room just in case things don't happen just like we planned. Then we won't get too stressed or disappointed.

Wordwizard, it never ceases to amaze me the
different ways in which we write. In my case, I would just put the words down and get as many out as possible and then go back and fix the first paragraph. I know you will make the deadline. You have to. However, I hope you don't make yourself a nervous wreck by not getting everything just right close enough to that deadline.

I know the feeling!
But right now, I have another problem.
I'm sitting on something with a deadline in 10 days and I haven't even started because I just can't get the first paragraph right! My head just isn't giving me the right words, and the story isn't coming.
In the lives of all writers come many moments when writing simply doesn't happen!

Look on the bright side. Perhaps that wasn't the best time to get those things done. The timing of God is always perfect.
