Twin Souls?
I did the same thing this weekend. My brother and I got completely lost in a very rural section of Va. where my grandparents live and cell phones don't work. We drove all over the place and stopped and took a ton of pictures of old barns, a burned house, tobacco fields sprouting...we never made it back, though. I was too scared to try to figure it out. I'm writing you from my underground cave where I'm hiding from the world.
