Yes, earnings to date are earnings since an account was created by a member.
If a member leaves Blogit for a few months and returns to re-subscribe their initial account (if it still exists), the date on the account will continue to reflect the date when they first created that account unless they set up a totally new Blogit account.
Blogit does not make public the number of members. However, there are tens of thousands of blogs and over 1.1 million blog posts and comments on Blogit.
