they do!!!!!!!!!!! I had a hard time adjusting to that at first too becuase up to this point the only theater productions I've done have been community theater where all you get are bragging rights if that.

Tigerprincess,
Does that mean that the actors get paid to perform there? I'm curious because my own theatre company is amateur.

If it's the only show in town, going after them is the best way to do it....

Z and tiger, Hey you guys!  How are ya'?  No school tomorrow so I'm playing with the big kids.  The theater I wrote to is the local Children's theater, I imagine it is funded by contributions.  But it's theonly show in town.  I'll stay after them!

We're not stictly a guild theater, but you do have to have some acting under your belt to even be considered for the productions. I think we're considered professional theater, but I'm not really sure on that.

If you don't get a response by Monday call the theater.

Is your theatre company amateur, professional or co-op?

Tigerprincess, I just sent an e-mail to local children's theatre because of what I read here.  Thanks for the inspiration.  My 15 year-old wants an audition and I would like a distraction from summer at McD's.
