ok so I've been told I have
an old soul
a parapsychologist said I've been through quite a few lives.
yeah sometimes I feel old.
of course the nomenclature is like any other word -- god and christ and heaven and all that -- these are names for things that are so beyond our comprehension as to really be incomprehensible.
we use the word, "soul", but that doesn't at all dexcribe what it is, whatever it is.
and we cannot ever comprehend the "Human Spirit".
There are so many complexities there.
I feel that all humans have 100% chance.
All people are a combination of good and bad. A murderer might have a deep affection for a pet canary, for instance -- everyone is a combination of good and bad.
reminds me of a Will Rogers statement:
There is so much good in the worst of us
and so much bad in the best of us
that it doesn't behoove any of us
to talk about the rest of us.
we can only react to our own personal situation, what we experience, incomplete though it is.
and hope that we can understand more.

The whole concept of broken souls and soul retrieval is a fascinating subject. I've read a couple of Michael Harner's books (a prominent expert on Shamanism) as well as one on Soul Retrieval. It sure makes sense to me.

I think I agree. I don't think there are any soulless people, but many with souls who've downed a bottle of Sominex.
