People shouldn't try to be friends with you?? Rubbish!! Lol...I do understand what you mean, though...I don't have many close friends anymore myself except for maybe three or four. I hope we get to meet one day. You're a wonderful person...and a fantastic friend. Thank you so much for everything. We love you, too.

Symphony...first off I want to say that you are the type of person
who I would want as a "real life" friend...
I do like all of the blogger friends I have made here and find it much easier to keep up with their lives than my "real" friends. I think it is because although I like to write, I am lousty at writing to keep in touch. Christmas cards make me shudder and I try to get them out every 2 or 3 years. I hate writing letters, especially if I have to write basically the same thing to several people! So I don't do that. Blogging I can say something once and no one feels obligated to read it! And I/they can "catch up" at any time of day or night. I guess bloggers are friends of convenience! Oh well, I do eventually manage to meet with flesh and blood friends, but it is hard work!
Okay I am done rambling on now... see how well that works? You can ignore whatever you want and it isn't rude! 
and that is not something I would actually DO!

Your a wonderful friend..and your right, so many of our Blogit friends know more about us then most of our "in life" friends. Like sometimes, I don't know what I would do w/o Ceil posting a pretty flower, or Strat telling a funny story, or Taps and her moving and connection woes, we just get close to these friends. When Passionflower holds class, there is nothing more fun than the bantering between Chelly, Timmy, Alf, and anyone else who wants to be schooled by the lotus petal.. Dear Anthony, what a wonderful man, these people mean so much to me in ways they will never know..I just think you are one very sweet and honest person, and I consider you my friend...

Symphony...
...I feel similar to your situation..in a way. I left all my friends when we moved to the US and while I have a lot of acquaintances here, I don't have any 'friends'. And it is so true that on blogit you get to meet a variety of people from so many backgrounds...where else can you do that? Okay well other sites I'm sure but this is the best IMHO. And I too consider so many of you my friends, and of course you too Symph! I think it is great that you understand that you need this time to sort things out in your life. We all need our own time to do such things..some don't take it.

Nah, who needs real friends anyway? All it means is more expense at Christmas and more sodding birthdays to remember and pretend you care about. This is wy I don't have any. And I turned out just fine.
By the way, I'm selling my house if you want to move away from the city. Please buy it and don't pay any attention to some worrying structure faults.
