One more thing

To link to another post or comment on Blogit, you can find the permanent location of that post or comment by clicking on the "permalink" link under that particular piece of writing.

Click on "permalink" (which stands for permanent link) and then copy the URL that shows up in your web browser's address field. That will be the location you want to put in when you do an "Insert Link" for any word or phrase.

Thank you.

To add links to certain words or phrases in your blog entry, simply follow these steps:

1. Select the words you want to link by left-clicking your mouse and then dragging your cursor over the words you want to select.

2. Once you see the words you've selected in a different color background, go up to the toolbar which has all the formatting icons and click on the one that shows a globe. If you move your mouse over it, you'll see the words "Insert Link".

3. Click on the "Insert Link" icon and enter the URL you want to link to. So for instance, say you want to link to the Amazon website. You would highlight the word Amazon, then click on the "Insert Link" icon and enter the URL for the Amazon site: www.amazon.com.

4. Then click insert and you're done. Your slected word(s) will now be linked to that URL.

If you do not see the toolbar and you are using Windows, please make sure you have version 6.0 or later of Internet Explorer. You can download the latest version of Internet Explorer for free.

Thank you and welcome to Blogit.
