I ended up buying my sons bed by credit card too, but its better this was because I didn't have to go all the way to the shop...they do free delivery aswell....so it's great...just got to find the money to pay back now....LOL

Don't feel like your alone in your addiction. I love to shop, especially in the wee hours of the night..last night I bought Whammie and me some new hair products. Girls will be girls..Your right about the credit cards though. Before I started shopping on line, it was QVC, now their on line...can't win.

Lock away your credit cards. Paste a note at your pc warning yourself not to shop online. Sorry you're experiencing this. That was a load of money....

Hey Symph...
..internet shopping is fun but it is too easy to just click that button and bam..it's done! I am finding it just the ticket since I'm not able to get to the shops and we have huge extended families on two continents so instead of shopping in stores, wrapping gifts and mailing them out...at huge mailing costs..it's much easier to internet shop and have them sent directly to the people. You take a chance with some stuff..cos you can't see it..but in the end it's easy..but sometimes TOO easy! And btw..your money is about half so 445GBP is about $800.00US..and that's just a quick calculation. Have fun but be careful!

I went through that when I first "discovered" Internet shopping. It was so easy to just click and buy. My downfall now is MP3 downloads. But those purchases go on my ex's account, so ta Hell wid it!
Just kidding. Seriously, you might need to set yourself on a budget, only allowing a certain amount per month for online purchases. Or make yourself a rule: Only buy online what you would have bought in person anyway. But no cheating! It's easy to tell yourself, "if I had seen this in person I would have bought it anyway."
