I get those moments all the time
and I always feel like an idiot.....I put it down to having too much on my mind...my friends are use to me talking in mid conversation then forget what I was saying....LOL.....thanks for the advice

I can understand and concur with your suggestion to shut the mouth when
there is a brain shut down, but as a person who cannot pretend to be doing what i am not actually doing, I would find it difficult to pretend to be nodding in agreement when i am not even listening!

Really good advice Whacky. Mine has been known to shut down
mid-sentence. Trouble is you know you should play like you lost your voice when nobody can tell you what your were talking about. LOL

I'm quiet by nature Whacky...
..I'm a good listener but I used to think being silent made me appear dumb. I talk a lot more than I use to partly to change the image of being dumb. Now you say people think quiet people are smart! LOL. Would love to see a photo of your roadrunner!
