I find it difficult to sit still for 5 minutes
at a stretch. I'd have to tie myself to a chair to make a list to start writing what I know.

Staying on track's a good idea. Here's another, although you may have heard it from so-called pros who continually beat on this drum: 'Write about what you know.' Good luck !

Quirky, I think I have this misguided feeling
that unless I'm being paid for what I write, I'm not a writer. I know it's dumb!

Good lick with that! I am setting a goal to start writing again in June-
when the kids get out of school and I get a life again!

I was just wondering if people would be interested in resuming the goals game!!! I think I'm ready for it!! Thanks for mentioning it! It really helped me last time and since I'm back on the 'puter and you're itching to write...well maybe it's time?? :-)

I think the goal setting is a good idea, but you know, you don't need to do anything to "deserve" the title of writer...if you write, you are a writer, it's that simple!!!

Flightpath, cool idea!
I used to have a blog just for that - The Jamaican Connection - but for some reason, I stopped posting to it. Thanks for the visit.

word smith - When in a writing funk, relax and blog about life in Jamaica. Elan27, from India, and I, U.S., encourage bloggers from around the world to share their local, grassroots lifestyles with the rest of us so we can all get truly acquainted and make friends. It's what the world needs now; and, it can happen here.
