I have no desire to control anyone. I am a very un controlling person really.
I find it scary that there are people who wish to follow the Biblical idea of God still. This God who believes he has the right to destroy his creations at will because he puts himself as being superior to what he has made. That would be the abusive parent justify the hitting and such by saying 'its my kid, I can do what I please'. it is sick, sick state of mind and the Biblical God is very much of that sick and disturbed state of mind. But of course I keep trying to point out that such an idea of God is about the worst example of a parent you kind find and yet we are told to look at God as being a father figure. It is no wonder our society is so screwed up when it is based off of such contradictions and the idea of 'Do as I say, not as I do' which is very much how God seems to want things.

Ody,
Kooka would like a god that he can control. He finds it most irksome that HE -- of all people -- cannot control the God of the universe. So instead he's created a little god perhaps just a notch greater than his own opinion of himself but in actuality one that he can manipulate and change to his heart's content.
god will consult with Kooka before making any major moves.

Are your children less important than you? My children are as important, if not more important than me. I created them, yet I have no right to teach them to worship me or believe that I am greater than they are. I will teach them and helps them to be able to use their free will in the right ways. Once more you are helping to show just how piss poor of a parent the Biblical God is. It is no wonder we have child abuse and such with this God being considered a role model. We are teaching parents that they should put themselves as being more important and more powerful than their children, and saying they have every right to rule over them with an iron fist. Every time a believer gets me to look at the Biblical idea of God I see more and more clearly that the Biblical teaching are very much hurting our growth and causing many of the serious issue in our society.
The God would be as neutral as any being in the universe is, since good and evil are only man made concepts that do not exists in nature. There is no need for Satan because this idea of God is a product of the universe, not some ideal of pure goodness, which just is not there, not matter how much you wish it to be. And evil would run just as rampant as it does with you Biblical idea of God, the only difference being that people would have to take credit for their actions and not blame a fictional being for it all. I'm sorry, but the crap of 'Satan made me do' is the biggest load of BS ever and is such a pathetic idea to begin with. it is sad that anyone follow such piss poor logic and is not will to be responsible for their actions.
Your ideas seem to do away with free will and promote a society very much like what Hitler was trying to create. A little scary there really. But you obviously have no faith in humanity and see us as being generally evil and bad. I on the other hand see us as being neutral, like all things in nature. But once we place desire in the mix, which is very much taught to us through religious beliefs, we end up with people doing evil deeds in the name of goodness. And since that is basically what history has shown us comes from believing in the Biblical idea of God, I am lost as to what you think your God does.

Hmmmm, so you would have a fallible God that is not all-powerful and is actually less important than its creations? Would you try to bully it around? Do you realize that you are purposefully leaving evil a free rein in the world? By the way, would you have a Santa, uh, I mean Satan, to go along with your God, as a counter force, or would you have him exist independently?
