jacenta, the movie was "stand up and be counted". I saw it in Europe and since I was over there, I don't know if it had even been distributed over here. Back then there were no Blockbuster stores to go check!
I liked your pooem. I like the way Steinbeck compares emotions in people to emotions in animals. I think it's good analogy material! Cheers!

So Hello kingmi,
I've always liked Sonny and Cher, but about then I was too busy, washing out cloth diapers, wiping sticky between little fingers, cleaning little bottoms and washing little feet. Ok, I confess. I am not telling the truth. I was dreaming about doing all that. I didn't have my firstborn until 1974. But, I'm sure I was doing something, so I missed it, somehow. Ha-Ha Sorry........
