kooka_lives -- I completely agree and especially with your last statement
There are people right here on Blogit that have been reduced to imbeciles by virtue of their "faith". Using the book to formulate their thinking instead of their inherent intellect. That's really sad in the year 2005.

So neither of us have found non-believers who are evil yet?
What are the chances of that?
I have gotten upset a few times here when believer tells me I ma categorizing all of faith and I have to point out that I use terms such as 'many', 'some' or 'in my experience', all of which very clearly say that I am not claiming every one who believes fits what I am saying. And then they turn around and very clearly say 'all atheists' are of whatever mind set. They somehow defend the idea that they can generalize based off of what they have been taught, while any criticizing of even a few members of their faith is as horrible as can be and is putting all of the faith in one basket.
I very much believe that religious faith clouds perception and closes the mind to reality.

cantey_1975 -- Jesus is a fairly good role model to pattern one's behaviour
after. But never lose sight of the fact that they eventually strung him up.

let this be an example of the proper
evolution of the nature of a human being after becoming a christian
they gradually become wiser and more gentle in the faith.
more loving, less condemning
accessable and inviting

no
I have not changed by beliefs
I have changed my tone and approach.
what I mean is non believers are just as loved by Jesus Christ as believers are loved byHim. The way I came across a year ago as you pointed out was indeed more " ominous" sounding and that tends to turn people off rather than get their attention and in fact gives the impression that Jesus Christ does not love those that do not believe in Him

cantey_1975 -- excuse me if I find this a bit humorous coming from you
It's not that you have lately given me any reason to doubt your sincerity, it is your very first comment to me as cantey about 14 or 15 months ago. The one and only comment I received from you while you were using that identity suggested otherwise. It was something along the lines of "all those who doubt him must receive him on bended knee" or something just as ominuous that more than hinted that you indeed feel that believers and non believers are different. Back then one group was saved, the other group damned, have you changed your outlook on this since?
