Tremendous writing. don't hold back. unleash yourself . Can't wait to see what else you have to say on your magic lady typewriter. Speak your heart and the rest  will follow.

PassionFlower, thank you for reading & so far as your personal situation, I

can certainly relate to where you're coming from.

Also, you made a very, very important point in your comment, concerning my serving as a city councilman or something like that. I feel that if, with the help of God, I can reign myself in a bit, I will be in a strong position to help a lot of people to improve themselves, and to help our country as a whole to advance to a higher plateau.

MHW::::In spite of your ego and your ornery ways, you know

People have always liked you. They seem drawn to you, perhaps for your strong leadership qualities.

I've been going thru a painful process called 'change' myself these past few years. I liken it to death and child-birth. The old me died 4 yrs ago and the new me was re-born, but birth is a painful, ugly, messy business. And death is even worse.

The old you won't die easily or quietly. And this I can say for certain, since I've known you for a few yrs and I've been thru the process myself. Good luck! You're just stubborn and mean enough to actually be able to pull it off. (I mean this as a compliment!)

I'm sure your community needs someone like you in the city council or mayors office. You have the skills, are articulate and people just naturally want to hear what you have to say. That's over half the battle.

I'm rooting for you on your quest to evolve into the man God created you to be.

MarshallEngraved, thank you & you just gave me an idea. One of this days, I

am going to submit a post about old-school L.A. slang. As you are probably aware, some of the coolest brothas and sistas in the US reside in that town.

But even though that is the case, one of the real loves of my life was a beautiful lady from Detroit. And damn, was she hip 'n cool. I still can't get her off my mind.

QueenofaLot, thank you and I dig you, too. In fact, in the near future,

I am going to write a post in which I will pay a great-big tribute to you. You deserve it.

WOW

I am probably one of the less intelligent folks around blogit......none the less I am driven to respond to you.

First off: I did not get lucky last night and get a phone call from God as you did, however I am alive and well in a neighboring town just south of you......so perhaps I'm on His list?

I looooooove your blogs, ego or not..........but I know how 'A CHANGE CAN AND WILL DO YOU GOOD.' (pun....sort-of) I'm there, I'm in the midst of change.......but aren't we all.....just some of us don't recognize it, know it or refuse to allow it.

keep on with your spirit minus the angry ego and I and many bloggers alike shall be most blessed. I dig you dude.
