my first time to visit...

and i give you the words of Rumi.  one of my favorites.

We are the mirror as well as the face in it.
We are tasting the taste this minute of eternity.
We are pain and what cures pain.
We are the sweet cold water and the jar that pours.

"God descends and the indescribable occurs. " Boy thats an understatement!:-) isn't it? Agree with all 5 pronouncements...truth simply "Is". Thank you

i got your message and did not even see a typo. i think people worry about others saying the right thing, or being perfect and completely miss the opportunity of communing with them. have a great evening.

i'm glad that you found this. i realize that a lot of people become violent, and excuse themselves from what they are doing by assigning responsibility onto a 'devil.' as you, i have ventured to find the truth by looking within, and suspending what others try to shove down my throat by means of guilt and fear.

on the contrary. i know many Christians, who are very loving and have faith. i was raised in a church which taught dogma much like what Billy Graham teaches. i saw a man describing an unconditionally loving god, but one who needs something from you. this is contradictory. i was told that we cannot comprehend god, but here is how he is and what he wants. another contradiction. people fear what they don't understand, and attack it. lao tzu stated that to only chase after another to 'show him the way.' or speak the truth. i have nothing against you or any other christian. but you see me saying something that appears to attack your thought systems, the ones you depend on for safety. how safe is it to attack your fellow man with condemnation and criticism? people are afraid of god because they attack each other this way and deny responsibility for it. have a good day.

AVANT-GARDE - YES, A LOVING HEART AND SOUL MIRRORS GOD. BE ASSSURED THAT ..
ALL THE USELESS, LOUD STRAINING AT THE KNATS OF 'RELIGIOUS' ARGUMENT, CAN NOT CHANGE THAT.

avant-garde

Just read you for the first time today, and must tell you I enjoyed you immensely and how you think.

I read your bio and we have a lot in common. I too have been psychologically hurt by organized religion, Catholicism.

I have kept away from this religious site since I've been in Blogit in the last two years, because I don't want to argue about anything. I don't want to hate anything either. I just  came today to see if there was anybody like me here. I mean that thinks as I do.

Yes, it is all and only about love. Period. Thank you for posting, for being, and I trust you will keep at it hoss

Avant Garde, you must not know many Christians... many of us actually laugh and have great joy, we don't all eat lemons... quite the contrary to our beliefs, a closed mind actually deters spiritual awakenings... yours, Avie is the side of fear.

the god Billy Graham speaks of is a projection of man's fears.

I don't mean to be rude here, but if you ever had them, you sound as if you've lost your moorings.  2 hand slapping nuns and a Billy Graham crusade for you!
