Twodog,
Suppose everything you just outlined were factual? Would 300 billion dollars, loss of credibility, loss of life (American and Iraqi), total destruction of a sovereign government, loss of freedoms, loss of basic human decency towards fellow man, ... be worth the price or the esculating cost of violating the rule of law.
Your answer does not matter!
Everything you outlined is a gross misrepresentation of "real" fact.

Just One Thing?
Okay, one thing George Bush has accomplised to help make the world a better place.
1. Diposed a brutal dictator, resulting in the first truly free election in Iraq since the British departed. Little girls are being educated for the first time in recent memory, if ever. Women's rights are on the increase, women have recently been appointed to the new Iraqi government, and paid the price through assissnation.
Wait a minute, I just thought of another one.
2. Influenced the Middle Eastern region to the extent the Libian Dictator ended his nuclear development program, and opened his country for verification.
3. Here's another one; Established a strong U.S. presence in the most violotal region on this earth. Hence, Syria pulls out of Lebanon, Saudi Arabia cracks down on terrorist funding, Egypt contemplates a more relaxed representative government.
If we, the United States, are charged with making the world a better place, exactly what have we been doing lately? Don't allow hate for Bush, hide the acomplishments and sacrifice of the American People.
A final comment, about oil and the price there of. Curde oil prices are set for all buyers, the U. S. and everyone else. The price of gas is dictated by taxation, federal and local, and the cost of refinment. And remember, there hasn't been a new refining plant built in this country in over thirty years. It's not so much the scarcity of oil, rather the ability to refine the various grades consumbed by the buyer.
