I actually have a little experience...
with food dehydrators. The trick is in figuring out how long to do the food and figuring out which foods dehydrate best. I did a post on this way back (but it was geared to doing the food in an oven) But I will gather the goods and give the dehydrators a shot because they are a whole other kettle of dried fish, so to speak...(don't dry fish.... it's gross)

Oh, well here is another topic for you if you want...
how on earth do I get my dehydrator to make something that seems edible? I have tried a few things but I am apparently not doing it right because the foods are never edible enough to keep. Luckily I have only tried small batches. Or maybe the stuff has come out fine and I am just expecting it to be too much like the store bought, chemical kind?
