Exactly, Justsouno. I think that's the healthiest way to handle
such things. I don't ever click on the "hate bloggers" and I wish others would stop, too. But, that's their choice. Personally, I have enough stress and frustrations in my daily life, so why would I purposely bring more into it?

There are some on here who have stretched the standard for sanity and
appear to hate any and all things but I just let them slide off my screen. I am not going to spend my life arguing any point. I probably won't change my mind and they have every right not to do so either so if we can be friends under those conditions, (friends as bloggers go) fine otherwise. I won't read or comment to them.

And David, I DID mention those blogs that you were commenting about
with scoop. That was the point about the "unmentioned by name" bloggers who continue to get read and fluctuate in the top ranks just by speading hate and negativity. Remember? I really want you to understand that. I don't want you thinking it's the Whammie stuff.

David, No No No!! The "hate bloggers" is a separate issue from
the other! I never said that anyone conversing with the Blogit staff are spreading hate!! Please understand that.

scoop, that's kinda how it seems.
And an added note to all- I'm not trying to target anyone in particular regarding the emails and comments to the Blogit staff about Whammie. Just wanted to make that clear.

David1 I didn't see any hate on any of the Whammie blogs but I agree with
the politics and religion they get real bad. I took a pounding during the elections. And I understand where you are coming from.

But I see hate in all kinds of blogs, not just the ones dealing with the Whammie issue, or spinoffs of that issue.
I find hate in the political blogs, and in the religious blogs, and many others too. Would have been nice to see those mentioned maybe!

David1 I disagree
we do have and had, a few here that border on hate and try to hide it. Just my opinion.

Taking a certain stand on an issue doesn't neccesarily mean hate
Just because a person is being forthright and very candid doesn't mean that person is spewing hatred, just strong feelings.

Sooner or later
hate destroys the one who hates while the hated can just ignore it. Can't wait to see this happen.

I get ya, Temple. And, I do believe that some of the "rules"
should be more detailed in description and definitions, but the other stuff is just self explanatory. Harassment is also an issue as far as communications with Shaycom, just the same as many hate blogs with aggressive & very negative overtones are displayed in some specific bloggers’ posts.

p.s.
A homeowners association would lose a lawsuit if they enforced rules with such a lack of uniformity, consistancy, and clarity. I know, I've worked on them. I don't think that's too much to ask, after all, without us, they wouldn't be here at all.

It makes sense to me, too...
But, just because this place is private, doesn't mean they can't be fair and uniform with their rules. Let us know what's expected of us. They've banned without warning, and in this last case what they banned for was not what even what they warned about. I just think it's about integrity, ours and theirs.

I couldn't have put it better...
I don't complain to Blogit about anyone; but that is because I am still mostly bound by stupid codes that I picked up in my youth...nobody loves a snitch, and snitching might get you shot. I rarely even use My posts to rail against assholish bloggers, they don't change and their ratings go up when I give them free press. What I do instead is just stop clicking on them. I will leave them entirely alone until and unless they start being a bitch in my comments section, and a few I have just ignored no matter what...guess what? They stopped bothering me after a while of no response.
It is the only way to get along here, flame wars waste too much time and energy, and anger is bad for my digestion. I'm glad I don't have to deal with assholes like some here in my day to day life, I'd get arrested for bitch slapping someone. But then, if those noxious bloggers were in my real life, they'd probably keep their fucking mouths shut around me, and around most of you too. People like that are basically cowards most of the time, and don't want to have to get dentures...peace out upon y'all...

Spiff,
You couldn't be more right. I have no doubt whatsoever that the bloggers who have Mongrel Blogs, the negative ones that you describe, would quickly go away if they drew no crowds. There are newspaper columnists who do exactly the same thing. Readers hate them, yet they stay with the paper because they draw a crowd. I have commented to this effect on Mongrel Blogs, but the crowd is too busy arguing to listen. Ignore those you dislike, and they go away. In short, don't waste time and energy making attacks upon the unpopular.
As far as Shaycom rules, they are there for a reason, It is a private corporation, and its objective is to operate at a profit. It's that simple. No one is going to work for them free, and their software, hardware, and office expenses have to be paid. They can't afford to retain bloggers who are detrimental to their ability to pay for salaries, equipment, and offices.
Thanks for making a little sense....
JJ
