Small things like facts rarely change people's minds with long held beliefs. How do we really know those things we call facts, information and knowledge? Isn't it really just a choice we make? I say we CAN really know what the afterlife is like, for example, as much as we can know anything else. Knowing is more about how we act in the presence of that knowledge that it is about what that knowledge is. Some say it is not truth until proven correct, others say it is truth until proven wrong. The choice is not whether we live in truth or lies, it is whether we live in doubt or live in certainty.

I think the discovery of these beings alive would change very few minds regarding their beliefs... I do believe we were created by God... the literal story? I don't know about that being... but I believe all was created by God... and obviously we weren't perfect when we were created - we are all evolving into better beings, more suited to our enviornment (which in the long run is all God) How would evolution change/challenge God's existence? I don't think even Darwin wanted to challenge God's existence or that God created us...
even the physicists are beginning saying there is an intelligence beyond all of us...

Actually we did not evolve from monkeys. The great apes and us share common ancestors. A little bit farther back we share common ancestors with the monkeys as well.
Okay then sis, so God is hairy? Does God get rashes as well? Now what color is God? Does he grow facial hair? And if not does that mean that native americans are not truly created by God since they can not? Does God have nipples? How about toe nails and finger nails? Does he get ear and nose hairs? Does he have sex organs? Would he even need a mouth?
If we are truly made in God's image, then God really must be a mess.

Empty, that would not change the facts as presented in Genesis...and
if you read the creation story it says that God formed man from the dirt and then breathed into him the breath of life...it is both physical and mental. If you have a scripture that proves otherwise, please share.
The reason man forgot about creation is because they gave up the seventh-day Sabbath which commemorates creation...what God said "Remember" man has forgotten. Revelations points to a people in the last day who worship their Creator. Check out Chapt. 14:6-10 or so.

in the image of refers to mental image.
there was a time when humans finally were given the mind of god.
i'm glad you commented.
the question is "If these 'little people' are discovered alive, what would be the ramifications?"

I am surprised that you actually believe we come from a monkey. We were
created in God's image, according to Genesis...God is not a monkey, and neither are my ancestors. These hobbits prove nothing...only more theories generated by a desperate group of scientists who seek to destroy the notion of creation.
