pain is a great teacher of patience...that said, I am sorry for your experience...as one who has lived with chronic pain for most of my life, I can feel that I can relate. (I have been released from my pain in the last few years -- yeah!) Take care, thinking of you..

Oh dear Michael, I am so sorry
to hear of your pain and misery. I don't know much about military hospitals or procedure, but is there anyway you can get a second opinion; a different doctor? Thoughts and prayers for healing and peace sent.
