Dark Dreamer, this is so well-written that it is thoroughly impressive. A big cut above most of what I read on this network. Excellent. I can imagine the experience you write of. You detail it so well. I can almost smell the perfume, see the ugly "crevice," picture the elegant young-looking middle-aged woman. Very good work.

Young kids ....
I bet they are! I do remember a toddler screaming for about 3 hours .. does that count?

Sitting next to young kids are even more taxing. I would always carry a good book to read.
