JJ, Border Collie's (IMO) are one of the smartest dog breeds.

Them and Australian Shepherds are so intelligent. It's almost scary!

JJ, here's the easiest way to post pics inside a blog.
Go to Photobucket.com and set up a free account. Then, all you have to do us upload the pics and it will not only store them for you, but provide you a URL for each pic. Then, go to that icon above inside the blog thingie (the yellow picure of the mountain and sun) and paste the URL into it. (Make sure you don't have "http" in there twice, cause the default of that icon puts in the http for you.) And that's it.

Spif,
I forgot one of you questions.  She is about the first dog I have ever seen that didn't immediately start a tug of war with the other dogs and ripping things up in minutes.  She gets really tough when another dog tries to get her toy.  Actually, with the other dogs she gets along real well, except when they start to do something she doesn't like.  Then she becomes one bad-ass bitch.  It's easy to see why they are used for sheep.  She's quite the disciplinarian.  JJ

spiff,

I started a comment and got all messed up trying to get my second window here to the blog while the comment one had me locked in, and everything went flying.  I went to the shredded toy blog and commented.  My other window is there now.  I'm plumb lost at the moment.  Call it outer space night.  Maybe the PSL burrito wiped me out.  I commented on that somewhere, but I can't remember where.  Maybe on your pickle/sardine blog--I don't know.

Anyway, I'll be posting some pics soon.  I have a digital camera that makes it real easy, but I need to look into the Blogit placement for post-linked pictures.  The about me pix were easy, but it seems the technique is a little different for others, so I need to look into that.  I glanced at it once before, and it doesn't look hard, I just haven't done it yet.

I'll get some pix on soon.  I have a good image editor, so the whole thing should be easy.  Actually, I have pictures right now, on my HD, that I can use to learn details of post-linked pix.  I'll email you for answers if I need them.  Or to tell you what's up, if I ever figure that out.

JJ, btw,
I posted this in another one of my blogs (I can't even remember which one...damn, I have a worse memory than I though!) OH! Wait, I posted it in my animal stories blog with the actual pics of Stonci's newest shredding session of her latest woobie.

JJ, so where's HER pic, Hmmm??

I wanna see! I wanna see!! Come on now! It's only fair!

Oh, and btw, do YOU have to constantly buy her new toys like I do with Stonci? She gets a new woobie at least every month cause she destroys them. If I don't buy her a new one, she gets depressed! Oy! It's crazy!!  Smoochies to you my sweet JJ.

Spiff,
Pleasant post.  I love it when dogs have a toy like that.  Good picture, too.  Casey, our female Red Border Collie (I think that's what she is.  I'm not really sure.)  Has a whole collection.  She sleeps between the wall and the my side of the bed, and piles them all up there.  When you come in, she runs to greet you with one.  Wagging her long haired tail, struttin' around, shaking her butt, then jumping up on you to stuff it in your face.  But don't try to take it, or the whole thing turns into a game of keep-away.  When she wants you to go outside with her she does the same thing, but keeps trying to lead you to the back door.  It's a ''c'mon honey, let's go outside for a little fun'' strut.  She keeps looking over her shoulder flirtatiously and moving toward the door, a giant toy in her mouth.
