I had some money and some candy on my night table
And my dog got both...fortunately he prefered the candy.
Money was torn but I taped it together! It was OK. Glad yours was too! We need to be more careful.
take it easy,

That was a close call. The bank does accept damaged banknotes. For torn pieces, you can tape them together neatly. I had unpleasant people sneak in cash with cigarette holes in my change. The bank exchanged it with a good note for me.

Symphony, that's a horrible feeling: losing money you thought you had. I'm glad it all worked out, but I am sorry you had to go through all that extra worry and anxiety.

the bank will usually accept torn bills if all pieces are there, I think.

Symphony, dear one much of it is not as dramatic as this but I learned
much more from my children than they did from me I believe. Have a great day little Mum!

LOL....offbeatpub ....YES....I have learned so much from him
because no child is the same, (my daughter was not into things like he) I am glad he reminded you to pay the rent though, but I had to laugh at your comment, because "fanny" in England means "Vagina" ...LOL.....

At least he didn't eat it. Children often remind us of why we have high
shelves, door locks, and childrens gates. I have to go. My grandchildren are being quiet again. LOL

Don't ya just wish we wouldn't have to learn the hard way from our kids? Speaking of which, I better get my fanny to the bank as the rent is due tomorrow. See, a couple good deeds came out of your child's torn note..
