CHELLYBELLY,

LOL, I hear ya! As a child ya hear it, and ya talk it. But when you try to read or write it down you throw up you hands! And conclude, hey English is much easier to read and write, but it's not as much fun talk in!

well I'm glad...'cause it's hard to sit and think of the proper way to
say something all the time!  And as thick as it is on "paper", it's even thicker when I speak it.  It is humiliating sometimes, even when I speak proper English.  There's folks who automatically think your momma and daddy are cousins when they hear "Ya'll" and "ain't" , "study'n, talk'n, toot'n 'round".  But, it's what gets me by.  The fact that I sound 10 years old doesn't help either.  Already bad inbreeding gone much worse. lol

CHELLYBELLY,
I like the Southern vernacular. It works with me!

CHELLYBELLY,

A man (or woman) must make a stand against bullying in all it's forms! Some people use position or status to keep diversity in bondage. Recognize and let's get busy. Thanks for the read!

GB...I ain't study'n no bully. And I damn sure ain't study'n anything
somebody "writes me" that is threatning or "mean".  please.  I have had my ass stomped, and my skin is thick from horrible things said.  Fuck em.  I can understand having a different opinion, and being very verbal about it.  I will try to deal with it up until a point.  Then I get tired and get loud.  But I don't block.

Tbgroucho,
A personal choice is all we have! Blocking because you are offended is quite different if you feel threatened. I hope we can continue to exchange ideas unencumbered by fear and intimidation!

i don't mind people with agendas
most of us have some agenda, consciously or not.  You can only be bullied by those whom you allow to bully, at least in a forum like this.  I certainly think the blogit forum should be as open to debate as possible, but I can understand everyone's right to turn people off if they don't want to read that which offends, and we must also respect Shaycom's right to remove people from blogit, just as I have to respect the rights of those who would block other bloggers from leaving comments (you and I included -- if someone wants to block either of us that's their choice).  We don't have to agree that so-and-so had to be banned, but this is Shaycom's space; we're just renting it.   If there is an agenda of true malice that blogger will get reported (you and I included!).  Thanks for not blocking me.

Tbgroucho,

Thank you for the read. The point of writing is to invite comment and discourse (a lost art in this democracy). A corporate media that controls the flow of information is dangerous! There seems to be a few bloggers (actually more than a few) who have an agenda beyond the expression of ideas. Bullying people with slick phrases and talking points. I will continue to express and read! I wish you the same.

blocking

I have never blocked anyone except by accident. But if you've paid your subscription you can block whoever you want from making comments.  I do not support censorship, but I hardly think that blocking someone is a major form of censorship, since again, it's your blog, not public space.  I admit to having gone after someone who was flaming on a friend's writing, insulting it beyond the level of reason, and insulting the person's life as boring and pointless.  The individual was not interested in engaging critical discussion, but just wanted to spew hate in a seemingly random fashion.

Keep in mind that blogit is not a "free" space.  You agree to abide by the rules.  This is a commercial enterprise, and bloggers can be removed by the staff if the staff believes a blogger has violated a rule (or rules).  If you are threatened in any serious way you may report it to the blogit staff.  I am a passionate believer in the First Amendment and don't want those rights curtailed, but this is not an entirely public space; it is a privately operated part of cyberworld.

Unfortunately we can't prevent others from viewing our blogs.  This would be a cool privacy feature, I suppose.  All you can do is not read the people you don't like or who offend you or for that matter bore you.  Why give let them have a share of your subscription?   There are plenty of bloggers I've stopped reading for all three above-mentioned reasons.  And I'm sure more than a few people don't read mine, for those reasons and many others!  That's okay, too; that's democratic capitalism for you.  The best revenge might be the earnings page.

GB, nah, my sista's not walkin' funny. She's swaggerin' 'cause she just
ripped off yo' country ass for every cent you have and caused you to max out all of your credit cards. And she did it all without even letting you get within 20 feet of her.

Nothing wrong with my walk! But check out yo sista!

GB, you're walkin' kinda funny this mornin'. Either you need to start
gettin' it on with "intimate partners" who have smaller "members" than the ones you're letting ream you out now, or you should start greasing up with more K-Y jelly before you get thrusted.

CHELLYBELLY,
Stalking is a crime! But the bully wants to weaken you through intimidation and threats. Express yourself and the caward will break his keyboard trying to put you on his "block" list!

You-look-fabulous,
Thanks for the read! There are people (remain nameless) who feel they can bully their opinions down our throat. Stay here and strong!

Mightyholywarrior,
Keep up the great work.  Let's get it on "Bro"!

I do not nor would I block a blogger. Not that I think it's wrong to,
and I understand some that do.  Unless it's a obsessive stalker type person, I have no problem with someone shooting off on my comment section.  Everyone has the right to say what they want, no matter how much of an idiot they are.  Always have the right to ignore them.

I previously developed an extensive block list when it came time to discover who in here was sending me to the land of eternal disrespect.  But after thoughtful reflection on my sad condition as a female, whilst gaining the morbid realization that most strangers immediately discount a woman as a silly and uneducated person who likes to sleep around until she becomes the boring keeper of some loser's children, I finally came to see just how very alone I am in the world, not only for the fact that I have never been correctly understood as to my wishes, but also for the incredible truth that when I have made my wishes known, they were ignored.

So, I unblocked everyone in the whole place except for three arch-enemy bully figures who have literally threatened my well-being.  I decided that I must boldly continue in my only recently embarked upon plight to have a voice in this monstrous world, where children are sent to hell because of their elders' bad judgements. (I was born in the 60's.)

GB, nah, kid, you'll never havta add me to your "cowards' list." I'm always

ready, willing and able to duke it out with your country ass.

In fact, I invite your comments. I enjoy, and thrive on, slapping around li'l down-home, hog-eatin', overalls-wearin', po' ol' broken-down niggros like yourself.

Hey! Great to hear from you "Bro"? I do not have to include you on the coward's list!

GB, there's some yukky-looking stuff oozing out the corner of your mouth
down the side of your chin. You just got back home from hanging out in the public men's room in one of your local parks, right?
