Thanks, Taps.
The Rosary is a very comforting and soothing prayer. It is also a conversation. All prayer is a conversation with God or Mary or whatever saint one is praying to for intercession with God. There are people of other faiths who pray the Rosary. I know of a whole Lutheran congregation that says the Rosary. One thing is for sure. If you pray the Rosary, pray it respectfully and as a conversation, thinking about every word you are saying, you will get answers to your prayers, guidance, and the desire to pray the Rosary more often. The more you pray it, the more you will want to pray it.

RAME, What an interesting and timely post.   I must confess to you that even though I am a believer in the power of prayer and one who prays to God in the Name of Jesus, I have never in my life prayed to Mary or prayed the rosary.   I was brought up a baptist and have continued to worship and pray in the ways of that denomination.  But, I know that God hears and answers the prayers of his people without denominational bias.   Six or seven times in my adult life, I have spent time in a catholic hospital where the closing of the day was the prayer of the rosary over the loudspeakers of the whole hospital.   It was very comforting and I looked forward to it each evening.
