Looks like I've missed a lot of it by not being around. I caught a little of it a while back and thought it would blow over. What a shame people can't just enjoy the uniqueness and talents of other people without it getting nasty!

Temple, I got sucked in too in that I spent precious time and energy thinking about it. As I am unwell right now I can ill afford to do that. I just wanted to shake people--it bothers me that people don't read properly, don't evaluate what they read and can't tell fact from generalizations - on both sides. It is a crazy argument to be having --it is not even a decent topic.

You are right, and taking the high road.
I have gotten sucked in to it, and was just sitting here thinking about that. There's been so much negativity....or rather, I'm just noticing it maybe. Normally, I don't participate and can't be bothered. It changes my whole experience here. I was actually considering leaving today, for the first time. This whole thing with whoever bashing whoever else, and someone bashing me for giving a (nicely worded) opinion on a close friend's post (obviously not the Limey thing)...I'm thinking maybe I'll just take off and leave my posts up on blogger. Sure, there isn't interaction, but this negative energy is wearing me down. I'm sure you understand. Maybe I'll just take a break from here or something, I don't know. Hmmmmm, guess I needed to vent. :) Thanks for the space to, May.
