In a maternal system, people are encouraged to behave like children, and take less responsibility for their own choices. They expect Mommy to pay their way.

Here in the north we have a health care system that pays for many health

services. Causes trouble when you offer a health service, as I did and do, that seems like maybe it could be covered but isn't. Potential clients then become loathe to pay...even if it's really an investment in themselves and their own health!

I can see how you'd have even more of a problem with energy healing. Even when people have concrete evidence--if they wrote down observations on their own bodies and pains and aches before and after--they don't bother and they forget immediately how badly they felt before!
