The only reason I say anything about her paying part of the rent is because I know she never will =). I wouldn't have offered it if I thought she'd actually take it.

Good move, Hacker. She must have learned how to bully from her daddy, maybe you did her a favor to make her face it early on. She's got a truckload of nerve moving in to your house and jumping on your case like it was hers. People like that have to be stopped as quickly as possible. If you let her pay even a portion of the rent, though, she'll really act like she owns the place.

I figured as much. But I have this condition that crops up from time to time. I think it's called "ultra-compassion." I have no idea where it came from, but it makes me feel bad for the worst of people sometimes.
