Thank you. Spiders seem to be pretty common for visual hallucinations. I've been reading about it for the last hour or so. Most likely it's because so many people have arachnophobia. I certainly do. Thankfully I’ve learned to suck it up and thwack the eight legged devils. But I’m still scared of them. Hopefully the visual hallucinations don’t get any more elaborate than a spider on a wall. We’ll just have to wait and see.

For many years i watched my grandmother go through the same things.. something with spiders too actually... it seems like you are a strong person though.. so, keep on fighting it. At some point, hopefully, it will get better.

I can understand not wanting to talk. It took many months of hallucinations to finally get me to go see a doctor. Thank you for sharing that with me =). Do you still catch yourself feeling things crawling on your now?

Uni,
Well two things: one it was my sister's fault...she kept joking with me and telling me that things were crawling on me, mostly insects...lol....it got so bad I couldn't sleep at night.
And my father was an alcoholic and abusive to my mother which added to my stress...
They gave me some ointment for my wounds, and every week I'd see the therapist and color. Sometimes I'd talk....not very often though...I was very shy.

Well it's good to get that sort of thing off your conscience, you know? There’s nothing wrong with what you experienced, and in fact it’s fairly common. Visual hallucinations in children isn’t a rare happening, for various reasons, I’ve been told by my doctor. What did the therapist say about it?

I used to when I was little....it was sad...I'd peel my skin off trying to get them off. I saw a therapist for a while after that. I must have been about 6 or 7 years old at the time....hardly ever share that with anyone, don't know why I am doing it now on Blog-it...lol

No, I know it wasn't real now. I saw it again in the same spot a few minutes after I did the posts. Sure enough, I looked away and looked back and it wasn't there.

Hacker, do you think it's real or not? As for a trap, I think it's like a
sticky paper or some sort of contraption that catches them.

I'm still taking that fish oil. There's something fishy about my burps lately though.

Hey I heard if you just take lots and lots of
fish oil supplements, they'll go away. (They won't be able to stand the smell of ya.)
Good luck. Try doing something calming.

If I saw spiderman on the wall I’d crap my pants. Let’s hope that never happens.

Hmm, spider trap? Don't think I've seen one of those before. What is it?

Hacker, I believe the current stress level you're under has caused the
visuals to kick in. I can imagine the frustration though...but a spider trap might solve whether it was real or not?
