yes, I live in London and anything I need is right where I am...so I don't need to drive anywhere....but its easier if I am doing shopping and my mum comes because I dont have to carry shopping home then.

That is so great for you ... My parents live nearly next door and I just LOVE it!!!! They are such a help to us -- esp. when things like broken arms and surgeries occur!

I wish my daughter lived near so I could visit and be with her the way
you and your mum are. It is such a sweet scene. Do you live in London? How do you travel? If you don't drive do you always go by public transport? Have a wonderful time. It is good for the grandmother and the children to spend time together.
