HolyG, so far, I seem to be, but
it seems to be lingering a bit. As my immune deficiency blood disease goes, I never know!!

I hope you've managed to fight it off!

That's great advise, Strat!! Thanks!
Bourbon sounds good, too! But, so far, I'm okay. I'm now starting to feel the feelings again. Hopefully, I'm still fighting it off!

Ghaaaah...The dreaded spring creeping crud.
Good luck with fighting it off. Hopefully, it'll bypass you, and whatever you're feeling today is just an ugly tease.

If not, chicken soup and bourbon. Lots of bourbon...

Darrke, I have been also drinking lots of water.
So far, I'm good. **Keeping fingers crossed**

Thanks Jimmy!
But, I woke up feeling fine so far. Maybe my body is fighting it off!

Take care of yourself - get lots of rest.  Chicken soup and orange juice usually help too.

JJ,
Where the hell is the Okie panhandle?? I'm doubting your arrival. If you're not eaten by wolves or coyotes, I'll be all the happier.

SpitFire,
It is not new.  It used to only be available in health food stores, and now it is a drugstore item.  It is a white box with yellow and orange on it.  I might be a smidge off on the spelling.

Spits,
I'm on my way this moment.  The dish is up, the laptop is running, and the beans are over the fire.  I think I'm somewhere in the Okie panhandle.  There should be a post by my new assisstant tonight--unless she's out partying.     JJ

K, JJ, I'll do that.
I'm poppin the vitamin C and echinacea, too. Hopefully I can fight the bastard off. I may resort to magick if it gets too bad. Oh, shit. I am scheduled to do a reading appointment tomorrow night. Damn. Sickiness always clouds me! May have to reschedule. Hopefully not. Anyway, where are you? What's taking you so long??  Now I'm getting sick, so I am highly likely to get whiney and crabby. I know how much you hate that. SO HURRY!

Thanks, Wham. I've never heard of oscillococcinum,
and I'm sure I may have a hard time finding it down here. (They're kinda slow in newer stuff down here!) But I'll try.

Uh-oh,

Drink water until it begins to come out of your ears, sleep every minute you can, and maybe take aspirin.  If aspys don't agree, take acetominophen or ibuprophen to relieve discomfort that keeps you awake.  Vitamin C is supposed to be good, but I question that.  I still do it because rumor has it that it works, but don't overdo it unless you want bladder probs.  Cranberry juice seems to work at getting fluid through, which is important, and it also has a lot of vit C.  Seek sympathetic consultation from Stonci.

Aw, Spiffy,

I am sorry!

You might want to get some oscillococcinum.  It is a homeopathic rememdy, and you can get it at the drug store.  Works best at the first signs of cold/flu.
