I'm not sure he wanted their permission, as he wanted them to be a part of it. He wanted it to be a mutual bond between the two of them.

UH, How odd that he wanted their permission. I just think that the whole
intenet thing had to be a "cry for help." He obviously wasn't stupid in an intilectual sort of way, so I have to say, he wanted to, but he didn't want to.

An interesting thought. I hadn't pondered that. It's certainly possible, all though he seems to be very comfortable with the idea of cannibalism, and after all, he did go through with it. Using the internet does make sense in a way; there aren't really clubs where you can go to meet people who want to be eaten.

UH, I remember that, I thought how odd to make such a request over the
internet. Do you think he could have wanted someone to stop him?? He did want to eat someone but how he went about getting his candidates leads me to believe maybe he just wanted to get in trouble before he actually committed the offense.
