he was too all over you

with the calls and messages and stuff -- it was too much for you.  he could not back off, so you had to let him go.

Christ, that sounds like he was a puppy, doesn't it? Sorry.  But then if you call yourself a bitch perhaps it fits!

It's okay, love, you'll be fine.  he will, too.

I will admit that I'm happy that you broke up with him. Now, you will have more time to blog and we all can be selfish/demanding for your company again. Isn't it awful to be so loved?

Symphony,
You did the right thing by letting him off the hook.  If he's bitter, then he can take a look at himself and ask himself why he's had a string of no-go relationships.  For starters, by getting out of him Mom's house.  Don't feel guilty.

SYMPHONY - Feeling guilty does not do anyone any good.   If you were as kind as you could be when you told him that's about all you can do.

I saw a bumper sticker that said *screw guilt*

It is entirely over-rated, but it is hard to ignore the nagging...

Wish you bliss  mysteria

Whew!! I thought we were gonna lose you there for awhile (smile) You did
the right thing, Symphony. Don't feel bad about it one bit.

laundry works very well when trying to keep your mind off of something  distressful.  i thopught I was the only one who did that but I guess not :P

Symph,
Try not to feel guilty, you did the kindest thing by saying what you did now, instead of much later.

posted by DivineDiva on April 15, 2005 at 9:00 AM | link to this | reply

You did the right thing sweetie.
Dont' let it eat at you. Now lets just hope he doesn't bug you too much at work.

posted by MerryAnne on April 15, 2005 at 8:00 AM | link to this | reply

Symph, even if it was love at first sight, it's always
good to take a second look ---- as you have. And it's better in the long run to recognize a failed relationship earlier rather than later.

posted by ARGUS on April 15, 2005 at 7:59 AM | link to this | reply

Symph... good for you!
You needed to end it and you did. The only guilt you should feel is if you continued to let it run for longer and longer til he practically has you married to him. Since you didn't... no guilt!

Hey!! Doing what makes YOU feel good and right about something does NOOOOT make you a bitch....   its your life and your choices and no matter what others say... YOU are the one who wsa dating him so only you can know what you're going through....  Im glad you did the right thing.... i'm here for you if you need to talk!

Sym, you're so MEAN!!!  ;-)  I'm just kidding you, hon.  You really did the best thing for you.  It is nice to worry about other people, but you need to take care of yourself, too (that's I problem I share with you - wanting to make others happy and feeling guilty when I look out for myself).

Symphony
You obviously did the right thing. I am very happy for you, by cleaning your home and making everything shine, is a cleansing of your soul as well. What a sweet woman you are!

You did the right thing. There might be consequences. Or something good might still come out of this. Take it slow and easy. Life will show you what happens next.
