MayB: As I've said before, my brother was the teacher. But I have given workshops on a number of subjects, mostly dealing with business,  computer programming,  systems analysis, technical writing and personal development. Luckily,I could get away without grading, but my brother never could. It was considered part of his job function. So was establishing how he would cover the curriculum.

From what I can gather, all teaching, including college and university, work on the principle that grading is part of the job. The only difference is that some tertiary institutes give the teacher/lecturer a budget to pay for someone to mark the papers.

So,about the only unethical thing I'd accuse you of (but don't) is that you protest too much about what is in your job description. Getting others to do the hard slog is just good business sense.

Scriber, at one school I am paid to grade and the other not. You can imagine which seems like a chore.

grading is just part of a teacher's job. But most college professors have
assistants to do some of the dirty work.

I don't know.
Honestly. But if they are willing to help you out and you will be giving the final grade I don't see a problem (of course I'm not a teacher or a journalist.. and inherently lazy... so maybe I'm not the best person to be answering.)
