So you'd like to learn Ukrainian, eh? Let me know if you ever manage it!! Just so you know, they also speak Russian there...You probably already knew that though, huh?
You asked if Slovokia has its own language...Yes, they do, but there are several different dialects...Not all of which are understood by all Slovakians...As I'm sure you know, Slovakia is now its own country...Long separated from what's now the Czech Republic...
The best way to learn Slovakian is to do some research and learn where exactly your family comes from.
After my Russian studies, I plan to learn Serbian, Croatian, and Bosnian...Some day, I suppose I'll have to get back to my German studies as well...

Russian, eh? I suppose someday I should learn Ukrainian, just to get a little closer to my roots (do the Slovakians have their own language?).
