There are websites dedicated to pure gore....
Beheadings in Iraq, brutal murders here, and they are huge....so obviously it's not just you. I lived in Denver when the Columbine shootings happened. My Dad's house was less than a mile from the school, and we were getting word that they were going to go out into the neighborhood and shoot randomly. I watched those kids, come filing out, hands on head. I watched Patrick fight for his life and pull himself out of the library window. I saw Rachel's lifeless body on the ground as they ran by. I think it was disrespectful and served no purpose to release those tapes to the public. Someone's murder should not be public entertainment. I know you are studying, and that's one thing....but I still don't think you should have ever had access to those tapes. Only the police and the psychiatrists that studied the aftermath. That was the overwhelming feeling of the people in Colorado as well. If my son, brother, father, sister was murdered in anyway and I knew that people were watching the tape over and over somewhere...online, whatever, I couldn't bare it. I will say, that the fact that you are "in heaven" when watching the killers or the incident itself.....that I find really bothersome, for lack of a better word. Although, I understand your situation...this are still my feelings.

Thank you for your comment. As far as seeing the violence they committed in detail, I think you can learn a lot more about them if you do than if you decide not to watch.

I am interested in the minds of the killers just to learn and try to
comprehend their actions. I don't necessarily want to see the violence they committed in detail, per se. I think human nature makes many of us curious; just the same as why people slow down while driving through a nasty car accident. They wanna catch a glimpse of possible gore. Nothing wrong with that, as long as one doesn't take it too far as an obsession. I do think that some issues should be explored with teenagers to "humanize" the victims so things like this may possibly be avoided by copycats. Interesting post.

Let's hope you're right. I honestly can't say how I would feel if something like this were to happen to someone I love. However, I don't think such violence is "cool". I don't watch it because it's entertaining. I will say this much: If someone I loved were murdered, and it had been caught on tape, I wouldn't rest until I had seen it with my own eyes. I suppose this shouldn't be too much of a surprise; we already know I have a deep rooted mental illnes.

Well, I'm more interested in getting into the minds of the wackos and
understanding them. I don't particularly enjoy anything about the violence that has taken place, and the loss of lives. That is sad to me. I think if you're not sensitive in this area, that maybe you should imagine it being your sister, brother, mother or friend being killed, or even yourself. At that point, you don't think it's cool and if you do, then I do believe illness exists on a very deep level. Then, you should check in to become a sexual slave in my compound.
