According to him he had just thought of it. He hadn't asked the girl yet. Incidentaly, and yes this may be catty, but when we went to NY I met the girl. And to me there was no threat there.

Guys at that age generally are without brains
Luckily they get older, and some of them even get wiser. I would have said no to a girlfriend coming at all, and more surprising is the fact that she would have said yes to living with you guys.

I think the only reason I forgave him is that he did just think of it and he was young. He does tend to tell it like it is, and is very honest with me about everything. If it wasn't for him being sincere in his apology we wouldn't be married now.
