I'm glad your son is now allowed to "open his arms" at the altar; what a statement... "Just As I am" a song sung at my Grandmother's funeral, and at all the Billy Graham rally's was being sung as I went up with my parents for Easter communion... I thought of the visual images portrayed in that recent Christ movie and couldn't stop from crying. He's the only one who would ever die for me - and have the power to save my soul from hell and damnation... yet for all that serious stuff which I definitely feel in my heart through the truth and power of the Holy Spirit, I feel joy in the fact that Christ breaks through His passion in his glorious, resurrected life... get me a soapbox... fiction, fiction, here I come... congrats on your son's confirmation... it's great he desires it. And what a nice thing to say... to that guy... God is pleased with you.
