How exciting!! Yes, you should be cautious with children involved, (and hey, we all have baggage of some sort, no reason to be alone because of it) just take it day by day, slowly and see where it goes - the kisses sounded heavenly!!

I would have one big reservation...
why is a grown man who is gorgeous living with his mother? Even assuming it really is his mother, how old is he?? Scary that he would be living with mom unless there is a Really Good Reason.
Otherwise- sounds like you should take a chance. See how helpful I am- haha
