Uni, Watch out for those black helicopters, boyo
Hey, what timing, I just ran out to run an errand and just got back this very minute.  As for the self-sufficient citizen, my ex-roommate is way ahead of you, or in lockstep.  She was stockpiling water and beans, and ammunition, the whole nine yards. Check out her webpage called The Anti-Communitarian League" (Communitarians are Zionist advisors to the government).  Only, please don't tell her I sent you.  We have patched things up via email, but we are not friendly.

MARY!
Hey hey! Long time indeed! Glad to hear that your computer problems are solved! Welcome back to the internet =). Yeah, a lot of stuff has been going on lately. I’m not sure that I’ll call her a new girlfriend yet, we’re just good friends at this point =). And as for your former roommate, my story would surely help to increase her paranoia =P. Especially when she read about how the American citizen start starving to death due to the fact that no one in the city is self sufficient.

I’m way glad to see that your back, and look forward to many more fun online discussions with you =).

Uni Hacker,

Hey! Long time no see!  Boy, is it good to be back. Talk about feeling like a tiny speck in computer world, being without one just blows chunks. It took a month of dealing with computer-induced paranoia to get the Dell up and running again. It sounds like a whole lot of things are going on in your world: loud and inconsiderate roommates, a new girlfriend, etc. Also, I want to read up on your German invasion synopsis.  I lived with a woman who is convinced the U.S. will be invaded by the U.N. and handed over to a world governemnt. She is flipped out trying to "save" the country.  I can't tell you how much fun that was.

Congratulations on handling the roommate situation.  Sleep is key.  I lived below a party house and I didn't have the clout or the cajones to get everyone to shut up.  It turned me into one ugly monster, bottling up my emotions into a dangerous, dark beast of unleashed hostility.  It's way, way better to spell it out, and deal with it.  I hope your roommate gets it, because messing with someone's sleep, can only lead to a bad place.

Mia
Maybe you're waiting for him? Or actively looking for him? Maybe you can see a little bit of your brother in those odd shows, and hear a little bit of him in those odd noises?

Uni

I hardly ever sleep, maybe your roomate and crew should come live with me...hehe.

I stay up all night looking for odd shadows and listening for odd noises....I've done this since my brother died, and have no idea why???

Oh man, I experience this briefly when I spent the night at a friend's house in NYC.  His roomates had some people over and they were drunk and obnoxious until like 4 in the morning.  And we had to be up early as it was!  I'm so glad I don't have to deal with that stuff.

Oh boy-------------

your medication kicked in but good! I would never have made it through the first night most likely. I am not known for tolerating people who mess with my sleep. My husband only survived because he was a quick learner...
